Introducing Karl Wohlwend -
Engineer, Producer, Composer, Arranger
 I
have been making music for 30 years. I grew up playing rock guitar and
went to college to study classical music. I've been teaching as a
college music professor for 13 years at Otterbein College, The
Conservatory of Music at Capital University and Ohio Wesleyan
University. I have performed throughout North America, playing a wide
variety of musical styles. I've contributed as performer, composer,
producer, and arranger to numerous recordings, including four albums
with the Irish band, Knot Fibb'n. I am a musician first and foremost. I
believe that microphones, pre-amps, and processors are musical
instruments, and that engineering is primarily a musical process. I'm
concerned with getting the best sounds in the recording process. I like
working with musicians, as I love what they do. I can help you make
your music come to life, I will help you feel comfortable during the
